The Milford Central School District is located in upstate New York, five miles south of Cooperstown, NY and 12 miles east of Oneonta, NY. Currently we have approximately 450 students located in one building in the village of Milford.
As we move further into the 21st century our goal remains providing our students with a quality program. One that will prepare them to be productive and participatory citizens !!

The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), a Federal law, requires that Milford Central School, with certain exceptions, obtains your written objection prior to the disclosure of personally identifiable information from your child’s education records.

Pursuant to the federal NO CHILD LEFT BEHIND ACT signed into law in January, the school district must disclose to military recruiters and institutions for higher learning, upon request, the names, addresses, and telephone numbers of our high school students. However, the district must also notify parents of their rihts of their children to request, in writing, that the district NOT release such information if it is requested.
