WELCOME TO SECOND GRADE!
I am excited to be your child's teacher for the 2011 - 2012 school year. I started my teaching career in 1983. I am embarking on my 21st year here at Milford Central School. I have classroom experiences ranging from high school, to middle school, to elementary. I absolutely love teaching Second Grade! Seven and eight year olds are enthusiastic and love to learn! I earned my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, completed Post baccalaureate work to obtain my Special Education Certification K - 12 Mentally, Physically Handicapped at Kutztown University of Pennsylvania and received my M.S. Ed. in Special Education from the college of Saint Rose. My husband and I were both raised in central Pennsylvania. Ron is a teacher of the Visually Impaired and travels from school to school to work with students in grades K - 12. We share our home with Ty, a long hair cat, Gracie,a Norwegian forest cat and several fish. My hobbies include: gardening, cooking, traveling and antiquing. I am a huge baseball fan - I am working on visiting all of the Major League Ball Parks. We are avid supporters of the Philadelphia Phillies and Philadelphia Eagles.
